LAND SURVEYING

MGM has provided land surveying services to support its own in-house engineering projects as well as for other engineering firms on major roadway improvement and utility installation projects. MGM has also been the surveyor-of-record for right-of-way, easement and parcel acquisitions on municipal utility and TxDOT highway projects.

With regards to private development, MGM has extensive experience in providing topographic surveys, boundary/ALTA surveys and subdivision platting services for corporate franchise, land developers, and educational and religious institutions.   These services have very often been provided as a member of a design team and as such have required close coordination with the team’s project architect, MEP engineering consultant and the Owner or his/her Project Manager. 
 
MGM has also provided construction staking for roadway, building, commercial lot, residential and amusement park development projects.  This includes having staked-out  tens of miles of public roadways that were constructed for the City of Houston, City of Bellaire and City of Pasadena. This also includes having staked out the foundation locations for major amusement rides at the Kemah Boardwalk as well as the Galveston Historical Pleasure Pier.
